KGlam ("we", "us", "our") operates the KGlam web application and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to users. This policy applies to visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

We collect only the information needed to provide, maintain, and improve the Service:

Account data: email address and password when you create or edit your account (demo or real).

If you run KGlam in demo mode (as the repository README describes), demo credentials or mock authentication may be used for testing; avoid using real personal data in demo accounts.

To provide and operate the Service, including authentication, dashboards, and profile management.
To personalize and improve the user interface and features (e.g., charts and analytics views).
To communicate with you about updates, security notices, or administrative matters.

KGlam integrates or may rely on third-party libraries and hosting platforms for functionality and delivery (for example, Chart.js for charts and typical static hosts like Vercel for hosting). These third parties may process data on our behalf. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Important: If you deploy KGlam yourself, review any third-party services you add (analytics, auth providers, error trackers) and update this policy accordingly.

We use cookies or local storage only for session management, preferences, and basic UI state. You can control cookie and storage usage via your browser settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law. You can request deletion of personal data as described below.

Access & correction: You may review and update profile information in your account settings.
Deletion: Request deletion of your account data — we will comply unless legal obligations require retention.
Opt-out: You may opt out of non-essential data collection (for example, analytics) where that option is provided in the deployed app.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us to request deletion.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post a prominent notice and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
